This commissioned cover illustration for BornWild • Versus was created for author Axel-Guillaume Eloa (AxelGE). The goal was to design a symbolic, visually layered cover that reflects the graphic novel’s themes of power, royalty, conflict, greed, peace, justice, and instability through intricate line art and conceptual animal imagery.
Built around a bold central V, the composition combines ornate framing, hybrid animal forms, and a dense system of sci-fi, political, scientific, medical, and technological motifs. The result is a detailed cover image designed to reward close reading while remaining strong and recognizable at publication scale.
