Purpose & atmosphere
Identify the places where artwork could lead, connect or provide a quieter moment. The question is not only what matches the wall, but what it should feel like to spend time there.
Scale & relationships
Discuss one focal piece, several related works or a larger illustrated surface. Consider the surrounding furniture, viewing distance and how different areas relate to one another.
A commissioning brief
Define the subjects, formats, number of artworks and practical requirements. A clearer brief makes the later artwork proposal easier to assess and the production responsibilities easier to separate.
Bring the scheme.
Find the place for the artwork.
Share the room photographs, dimensions, material palette and intended use. Include any pieces that will stay in the space and anything that has already been decided. The artwork direction can then respond to the project rather than proposing a second interior scheme.
For a business, explain who uses the space and how the art relates to the identity. A reception, guest room and informal gathering area do different jobs. Their artwork does not have to use the same subject or the same level of visual activity.
For a home, start with what you are drawn to and what you already live with. A remembered landscape, a botanical study or a series of small images can create a more personal direction than choosing only by colour.
A conversation needs
a defined outcome too.
Ask what the proposed consultation includes: a discussion of references, a written artwork brief, a selection from Adelya’s own work, or an agreed placement study. These are possible scopes, not a standard bundle that every inquiry automatically receives.
Duration, fee, preparation, deliverables and follow-up are confirmed in writing. Creating original artwork, obtaining prints, framing and installation are separate stages unless included expressly.
This is an artist-led discussion centred on commissioned artwork and Adelya’s practice. It is not presented as independent market-wide art procurement, valuation, authentication or investment advice. Architectural and full interior-design services are also outside the implied scope.
A useful outcome can be a decision to commission less, change the format or leave an area open—not simply add more pictures.

1. Share the space
Send photographs, approximate measurements, references, intended atmosphere and the decisions you need help with. Identify the people approving the project.
2. Agree the consultation
Confirm the questions to address, format, duration and deliverables. Include a budget range for the eventual artwork so the discussion stays practical.
3. Develop the artwork brief
Review the possible subjects, scale and relationships between pieces. Record the agreed direction and unresolved production questions in the deliverable specified for the consultation.
4. Quote the commission separately
Any original artwork or further design work receives its own scope, rights, price and timeline. A consultation does not automatically commit either party to a larger project.
Put this direction into a useful brief.
Bring a relevant portfolio example and describe what you like about it: the handling of colour, the expression, the texture or the composition. Then describe your own subject and where the artwork will appear. The reference starts the discussion; the new work is developed for your particular purpose.

Can we begin before the interior is finished?
Share the plans and current decisions, identifying what may change. Early discussion can define the art brief, but final dimensions and production requirements need confirmation before artwork is prepared.
Will you recommend other artists or source an entire collection?
That is not assumed in this offer. The proposed discussion centres on Adelya’s work and commissioned illustration; any wider sourcing responsibility must be agreed separately.
Does a consultation include a room mockup?
Only when that deliverable is specified. A placement study can communicate an idea, but it is not a measured installation drawing or proof of the printed material.
Can the work be done remotely?
Discuss the available references and the decisions required. Some questions can be considered from photographs; site visits and travel are not automatically included.
What is the consultation fee?
Format, duration, preparation and deliverables are agreed before booking. There is no unverified fixed package on this page; ask for the proposed scope and price.
Who handles printing and installation?
The relevant supplier or project team unless extra coordination is included. Responsibilities and booking conditions follow the written agreement and current terms.
