Hotel & Hospitality Artwork

Hotel and hospitality artwork shaped around the experience you want guests to have.

Discuss commissioned illustration by Adelya for rooms, shared spaces and guest-facing materials. A landscape, a local detail or a connected series can give the project a visual direction of its own.

From the welcome
to the quiet of a room.

Guest-room artwork

A focal image or related set developed for the room’s proportions, palette and furnishings. Discuss what should feel shared across rooms and where individual variations belong.

Shared-space collections

Illustrations for a lobby, lounge or sequence of public areas. A collection can have a common visual language without repeating the same image at every turn.

Guest-facing illustration

Artwork for welcome materials, menus or a destination-led piece. Plan the printed and digital uses alongside the interior brief when they need to feel connected.

What could only
belong here?

The surrounding landscape, a characteristic building, local plants or a small everyday ritual can provide a more specific starting point than a generic hospitality image.

Adelya’s place studies show how architecture and landscape can be interpreted through colour and atmosphere. Botanical work offers another direction. These are portfolio references, not claims of completed hotel installations.

Share the property’s story and the interior scheme. A coastal guesthouse and an urban hotel may both need a connected collection, but not the same subjects or visual rhythm. Explain the tone you want to avoid as well as the one you want to create.

For a real hospitality example from a different setting, the Coffee Cats café project shows a small poster series developed for a particular place.

Plan the collection
and its production separately.

Provide the areas, artwork dimensions, quantities and any room-type variations. Include the design palette, existing artwork, target dates and the team responsible for approval.

State whether you need original pieces, files for licensed reproduction, or a combination. A commission for one artwork does not automatically include printing it for every room or using it across several properties. Define those uses before the quote is agreed.

Your printer, framer and installer should supply the technical requirements. Materials, durability, fixing methods and site requirements are their responsibilities unless a different division is expressly agreed. Illustration is not a substitute for production sign-off.

Put this direction into a useful brief.

Bring a relevant portfolio example and describe what you like about it: the handling of colour, the expression, the texture or the composition. Then describe your own subject and where the artwork will appear. The reference starts the discussion; the new work is developed for your particular purpose.

Build a short project brief · Ask about using an existing artwork

Agree one direction.
Then develop it across the property.

1. Property & scope

Review the story, spaces, quantity and intended uses. Confirm the asset list, budget, licence and review schedule.

2. Initial artwork direction

Discuss subjects and compositions against the interior scheme. An agreed first artwork or sample stage can establish the approach before a larger set.

3. Collection & handoff

Develop approved works and deliver the specified files or originals. Rollout adaptations and production coordination are included only when named in the order.

Read the process · Understand the quote

Hospitality artwork questions.

Can one design be used in several guest rooms?

Describe the quantity and intended reproduction. The licence and production files should cover that use rather than assuming unlimited copies.

Can we commission a collection connected to our location?

Share the places, stories and references that matter to the property. The subject and visual direction can then be reviewed for a coherent set.

Do you supply framed artwork ready to install?

Originals, prints, framing and installation are distinct deliverables. Availability and responsibilities must be confirmed in the quote before procurement.

Can you work with our interior designer?

Provide the scheme and approval contact. The artwork brief can respond to an established design without replacing the wider interior project.

What determines cost and lead time?

Artwork count, complexity, medium, variations, usage and production needs. Allow separate time for proofs, framing, shipping and installation.

Can the images also appear in our marketing?

List website, print, social and advertising uses before ordering. Additional permissions or adaptations may be needed; see the current terms.

What should guests remember?

Send the space, the location and the collection you have in mind.
