A focal artwork
An image that gives a room a point of attention. Its subject, scale and palette can respond to the furniture, light and the distance from which it will be seen. A quieter room may need a different kind of presence than a busy public space.
A connected series
Several pieces can create continuity across a wall or a sequence of rooms. Related motifs and colors give them something in common without requiring every image to repeat the same composition.
Wall-scale illustration
A mural or large printed artwork needs to be planned around the actual surface. Doors, corners, fixtures and viewing distances affect the design. Artwork creation, physical production and installation are agreed as separate parts of the project.

Send photographs of the space, approximate measurements and the wall or area you have in mind. Include the colors, materials and lighting that will sit beside the artwork, plus anything that must remain visible or unobstructed.
For a home, the subject may be personal: a remembered place, a botanical image or a collection of small paintings. For a business, explain the audience and the role of the artwork in the wider identity.
Interior designers and project teams can provide a more developed specification. Identify who will handle printing, framing, materials and installation so the handoff can be planned around their requirements.

1. Place & purpose
Review the space, intended atmosphere, audience and required format. Agree the design scope, budget, rights, review stages and schedule.
2. Composition in context
Develop the agreed sketches or placement studies. Review the relationship between the artwork and the room rather than judging the image alone on a screen.
3. Artwork development
Refine the approved direction and prepare the design for the specified dimensions and method of reproduction. Production changes may require the artwork to be adapted.
4. Production handoff
Supply the agreed files or original work. Site preparation, manufacturing, travel and installation are only included when explicitly confirmed in the written order.

Do you paint murals on site?
Ask about the location, surface, size and timing before assuming on-site work is available. This page presents artwork and design capabilities; travel, site preparation and physical painting require a separate confirmation.
Can you design artwork for our local printer or installer?
Share their technical requirements and explain who is responsible for the final production proof. File dimensions, resolution, color specifications and panel divisions should be agreed before final artwork is prepared.
Can we see a mockup in our space first?
A placement study can be included in the project scope. It helps discuss composition and scale, but is not a guarantee of exact printed color, material texture or the final installation result.
How much does interior illustration cost?
The quote depends on the number of artworks, complexity, size, medium, production requirements and usage. A framed personal piece and a large commercial wall design are different projects. See the pricing guide for the questions that shape a quote.
Can the same artwork be used in several locations?
Describe the locations and reproductions needed before ordering. The licence and production scope should cover the intended rollout rather than assuming one commission includes unlimited reuse.
