Drawing prompt generator.

A small invitation to make something.

Choose a subject world and a way of working. The tool combines written prompts for you to interpret with your own materials; it does not generate artwork or upload your drawings.

Give your imagination somewhere to begin.

Draw a cat who runs a midnight café. Use only three colours.

Make the prompt your own.

Use the words as a beginning, not as an assignment to satisfy. Change the subject, simplify the scene or follow one small detail. A prompt is useful when it helps you start looking and making decisions.

For a quick study, begin with the largest shapes and choose one thing to pay attention to: the silhouette, the movement of a line or the contrast between two colours. For a longer exploration, try more than one composition before adding detail.

Three starting points to try now.

  • Draw a familiar house with one window telling an unexpected story.
  • Arrange three ordinary objects as though they were characters in a conversation.
  • Draw a flower twice: first for its silhouette, then for the way its petals overlap.

The examples remain available when the interactive tool cannot load. You do not need an account, a subscription or a particular drawing app.

Adelya’s journal follows studies, materials and the choices behind individual images. Look for the connection between the reference, the process and the finished work, then take what you learn into your own experiment.

Questions about the tool.

Does this create an image for me?

No. It creates a written starting point. You make the artwork with your own materials and decisions.

Are my choices or drawings uploaded?

The prompt selection happens in your browser. This tool has no image upload and does not send your choices to an image-generation service.

Can I use this without JavaScript?

Yes: the three written examples and the first visible prompt remain on the page. Generating a new combination requires JavaScript.
