A home, remembered
Keep the front door, the garden or a familiar window in a picture. A childhood house, a first apartment building or a family cottage can be approached as a personal keepsake rather than a technical rendering.
A thoughtful gift
A house portrait can mark a move, an anniversary or a new beginning. For a housewarming or a realtor’s closing gift, include the occasion, recipient and required date when you inquire. A business gifting programme needs its own usage agreement.
A place with a story
A favorite shopfront, a wedding venue or a building encountered while travelling may be the subject. Tell Adelya why it matters and which parts of the setting belong in the composition.
Decide what stays
in the picture.
A photograph may contain parked cars, temporary scaffolding or a season that is not the one you remember. Explain which details are essential and which can be left out. Changes need suitable references and should be agreed before the composition is settled.
The finished image can concentrate on the building or leave space for its surroundings. A close façade study and a house set within a garden tell different stories. The right choice depends on what you want to remember.

Start with a clear overall photograph of the building and any close views needed for important features. Identify the angle you prefer. You can also include a short note about the place, an inscription you would like considered and a portfolio example whose atmosphere appeals to you.
For a physical gift, mention the destination and the occasion. A digital file, a printed reproduction and an original painting are different deliverables, with different production and delivery requirements.

1. Define the view
Review the reference photographs, subject, medium and intended use. The quote establishes the size, scope, agreed revisions, delivery and timing.
2. Review the composition
The sketch stage is the time to agree perspective, surrounding elements and any requested changes to the reference. Written feedback keeps the important details together.
3. Develop & finish
Color, texture and atmosphere develop from the agreed direction. The approved work is then prepared for the delivery specified in the order. Printing and shipping are not assumed to be included.

Before you choose the view.
Can you work from an old photograph?
Send the image for review. The level of visible detail and the size of the planned artwork affect what can be interpreted. Additional photographs can help; details that cannot be verified should be discussed rather than invented.
Can you remove cars or change the season?
Changes can be included in the initial brief when there is enough reference to support them. A different season, landscaping or surrounding architecture may require more work than a straightforward interpretation of the photograph.
How much does a house portrait cost?
The quote depends on the building, level of architectural detail, setting, medium, dimensions and use. Send the reference and describe the kind of picture you want. A simple façade and a large property with grounds are different projects.
Will I receive an original painting?
Only when an original is included in your order. Confirm the medium, dimensions and delivery before work begins. A scan, print-ready export, reproduction or framing can be discussed separately.
Can I use the illustration for business materials?
Specify the materials and audience before commissioning. A private keepsake, a realtor’s brochure and a venue’s commercial identity require different agreed permissions. The current terms explain the general framework.

Bring a relevant portfolio example and describe what you like about it: the handling of colour, the expression, the texture or the composition. Then describe your own subject and where the artwork will appear. The reference starts the discussion; the new work is developed for your particular purpose.
