A series people
recognise in the feed.

Illustrations for a Russian-language series of posts, #скемнебывает: deadlines, burnout, stoic calm and a nod to a well-known game show. One palette, one hand, a different subject every time.

A campaign image

A key illustration can give a launch, announcement or seasonal idea its visual centre. Plan the main composition and adaptations together rather than forcing one finished image into every format.

A connected series

Recurring motifs, characters or a shared palette can connect several posts. Each image still needs its own message so the series feels intentional rather than repetitive.

A creator identity

An illustrated avatar, channel image or character set can become a recognisable part of an online presence. Shape, contrast and the crop matter when the image is displayed small.

The portrait studies explore recognition through faces. Knights Move explores it through a recurring horse character with different expressions and gestures. Semyon’s illustration adds a fictional setting and lettering around a particular cat.

These artist-owned and portfolio examples show visual approaches, not promised campaign results. A commissioned project begins with your own subject and audience.

For a series, share the topics and the existing identity. A consistent palette or character can connect the work while leaving each image room to express something different. Include the intended words early: an illustration should make space for them rather than have its most important detail covered later.

What should the audience understand or feel? A product announcement, an editorial opinion and a personal introduction ask for different images. Explain the purpose before sending a list of dimensions.

Then name the channels, asset count, copy, launch date and approval contact. Identify which versions need a different composition, not just another export. A tall story, square post and wide banner may need separate decisions about the same idea.

The handoff contains the illustrated assets agreed in your order. Scheduling, account management, copywriting and paid-media buying are not assumed to be included. Animation and an editable template library also need their own scope.

Put this direction into a useful brief.

Bring a relevant portfolio example and describe what you like about it: the handling of colour, the expression, the texture or the composition. Then describe your own subject and where the artwork will appear. The reference starts the discussion; the new work is developed for your particular purpose.

I am very pleased with Adelyaart's work, my illustrations turned out beautifully. Her English is excellent, which allowed for great communication. She is meticulous in her work. Whenever there are changes to be made to the illustrations, she does them quickly and nicely. In short, she is a delight to work with, and I highly recommend her.

Social illustration questions.

Can you create a campaign set?

Send the complete list of messages and formats. The quote distinguishes original illustrations from adaptations and sets out the review stages.

Can you work within our brand guidelines?

Share the guidelines and existing materials. Illustration can extend the identity without replacing the logo, typography or other established assets.

Are animated posts or editable templates included?

Not automatically. Explain the animation or editing workflow you need. Static exports, layered files and reusable templates are different deliverables.

Can we use the artwork in paid advertising?

Specify paid campaigns before commissioning. The licence should cover the channels, territory and duration required rather than treating every commercial use as equivalent.

What determines the cost?

The concepts, number of original images and adaptations, production requirements, usage and timing. A single avatar and a multi-format campaign have different scopes.

Is reach or engagement guaranteed?

No. The artwork is developed to the agreed creative brief; distribution and audience response are not a promised result of the commission. See the current terms.

What is your next story?

Send the message, audience, channels and images you need.
