From your component list to a printed card.

Send how the game plays, who it is for and the component list: how many cards, characters, a board, a box. Your card template or prototype helps too. Adelya replies with how she would approach it and a fixed price before anything starts.

What card art usually costs.

Published guides put indie and crowdfunded card art at roughly $70 to $250 per card, and a box cover at $300 to $1,000 or more. A set of ten here works out at €69 a card, at the lower end of that range, with the card back, the box and a character sheet priced separately so you only pay for what the game needs.

Every package includes print-ready files with bleed and the right to print and sell your game. Rules writing, card layout and manufacturing are not part of the illustration; Adelya works to your designer’s templates. If a crowdfunding campaign or a printer’s slot sets your deadline, say so at the start.

I am very pleased with Adelyaart's work, my illustrations turned out beautifully. Her English is excellent, which allowed for great communication. She is meticulous in her work. Whenever there are changes to be made to the illustrations, she does them quickly and nicely. In short, she is a delight to work with, and I highly recommend her.

These pieces come from other projects. They show how Adelya draws characters, animals and repeat motifs that still hold together at a few centimetres wide, which is what a card asks for.

Before commissioning.

Do you illustrate tarot and oracle decks?

Yes. The full deck package covers the 22 major arcana with the card back and the box. The minor arcana or a larger oracle deck is quoted per card on top.

Can I use an image already in the portfolio?

Ask about that artwork and how you want to use it. Existing client agreements may limit what can be offered.

What files do I receive?

High-resolution files at print size with bleed. Tell Adelya your printer’s requirements, such as CMYK or a specific card size, before the quote.

Can we begin with one card?

Yes, that is what the test card is for. The set and the full deck follow once the style is agreed.

Is this a gift for my own table, not a game to sell?

Then the personalised board game page fits better: one character from €45, a family deck or your own board.

Tell Adelya what you have in mind.

A few sentences, the intended use and a piece from the portfolio are enough to open a useful conversation. Scope, availability and the quote follow from the actual project.
