Nutcracker Extravaganza!

It first started with Nutcracker illustration based on Soyuzmulfilm’s character from Soviet Era 1973 cartoon Щелкунчик. I’ve posted my work in my Instagram, and had some appreciation received by my friends and family after. Since then, this became just one of my sketches in the feed…

Couple of years passed and I got sudden message from aspiring designer & owner of children’s clothwear & bed linen. They liked my original Nutcracker design and asked if it will be possible to develop small collection of illustration which will be applied to real clothes & fabrics. Of course, under valid license from Soyuzmulfilm themselves! I was excited and jumped into the production process.
