How Semyon became the face of Catpuccino Club.

From reference to character
Preserve the attitude, not only the markings
A convincing pet portrait is more specific than “a tabby cat.” Semyon’s dark forehead stripes, uneven colour around the muzzle, pale eyes and compact front-paw pose carry his identity. The illustration keeps those anchors while rebuilding the coat through short directional strokes, pale whisker lines and layers of brown, cream, charcoal and muted peach.
The eyes remain the point of attention. Their cool colour cuts through the warmer fur, while a restrained pink nose keeps the face alive without turning it into a generic mascot.
A good portrait keeps the expression you recognise—even after the world around it becomes imaginary.
Building the Catpuccino Club
Instead of a conventional frame, Semyon sits inside an oversized white cup with both paws over the rim. CATPUCCINO forms the poster structure; the looser Club mark interrupts it like a café signature.
The muted sage background connects with Semyon’s eyes and keeps the striped fur, white cup and outlined letters readable. The result can live as a portrait, print, postcard, sticker or small piece of fictional brand design.
